Invasive plant ecologist, CSIRO

I am a plant community ecologist who is driven to understand the patterns and mechanisms of impact of alien plant invasion on native vegetation and ecosystems. My previous experience includes research at University of Wollongong into the effects of woody weeds and alien grasses on Australian native forest ecosystems. My current focus at CSIRO is on developing biological control strategies for effective, sustainable management of alien plants, as well as the regeneration of invaded ecosystems and productive agricultural landscapes.
