Researcher in Medieval History, Université Toulouse – Jean Jaurès

I've defended a Ph-D in 2009 on papal crusading policy in the 15th century. Since then, as an associate researcher at the university of Toulouse, I've kept on research on the history of the later crusades (13th-16th century) and Western Relations with Ethiopia in the Middle Ages and Early Modern Times. I've published several articles on these topics and two books, "Lutter contre les Turcs. Les formes nouvelles de la croisade pontificale au XVe siècle " (Rome, 2013) and "Croisades en Afrique. Les expéditions occidentales à destination du continent africain" (Toulouse, 2019)
Thanks to a Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant from the EU, I've been working on the history of the history of the word "crusade" at Stockholm's university in 2019-2020.
