Bridget Nicholls

PhD Candidate, Department of Sociology & Criminology, University of Windsor

Bridget Nicholls is an interdisciplinary PhD candidate who was recently appointed as an Associate Fellow to the Oxford Centre of Animal Ethics. Bridget also works with the Animal and Interpersonal Abuse Research Group, a group dedicated to improving outcomes for people impacted by the co-occurrence of animal and interpersonal violence.

Her research examines the power and depth of the human-animal relationship through a governance lens.The areas she is most interested in is the sociology of law & policy, multispecies labour & organizations, and green harms/crimes.
