Bruce Gaulin is Distinguished University Professor at McMaster University, where he holds the Brockhouse Chair in the Physics of Materials. He has served as Director of the Brockhouse Institute for Materials Research at McMaster, since 2009. Gaulin is a Senior Fellow of the Quantum Materials program of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIfAR) and an expert in the application of neutron scattering to new quantum materials, such as magnets and superconductors. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, and the current Vice President of the Canadian Association of Physicists.
