Bryan Warnick is professor of philosophy of education and associate dean for academic affairs in the College of Education and Human Ecology. He earned his BS degree in philosophy and psychology in 1999 from the University of Utah, graduating magna cum laude. After serving as a research associate in medical ethics at the University of Utah School of Medicine, Warnick returned to school to complete his AM (2002) and PhD (2005) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Philosophy of Education, with Nicholas Burbules and Walter Feinberg as his primary advisors. He taught at the University of Illinois in 2005 as an adjunct assistant professor, and was hired by Ohio State University in the fall of 2005 to teach and conduct research in the area of history and philosophy of education.
