Caitlin Rabe is a palaeobiologist and doctoral candidate at the University of Cape Town's Department of Biological Sciences, under the supervision of Professor Anusuya Chinsamy-Turan. Her current research focuses on the lives of dicynodonts - a diverse group of extinct reptiles, predating the dinosaurs, that lived in the South African Karoo during the Permian period (+- 300 MYA). Caitlin is a public speaker and passionate advocate for science communication.
