Caroline Gans Combe

Associate professor Data, econometrics, ethics, OMNES Education

Caroline Gans Combe is an associate professor at INSEEC @ OmnesEducation, where she works on new paradigms of innovation and value creation, and teaches courses on data science, monitoring and impact indicators and related ethical issues.
She is also involved as a director of Reihoo - a training centre dedicated to the third sector and SMEs whose core business is the transfer of skills and the development of ethical and pragmatic practices in the field of innovation deployment and financing (structured financing, project management and financing) specifically through the deployment of dedicated e-learning tools. Finally, she is an independent expert for the European Commission in various fields such as health, ICT, data security, SME financing and ethics. In this respect, she chaired a working group on best practices in the use of data in research (ethical guidelines on data protection and privacy) and was appointed to the expert group assessing the growth potential of SMEs benefiting from the EU's dedicated instrument. Through Reihoo, she has designed and deployed over 256 hours of online courses on value, project management, data science for the third sector, innovation and financing.
A certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, she is a member of the IEEE and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). A graduate of the Institut d'études politiques de Paris, she holds a master's degree in ICT law, a Phd in language modelling, and is completing a thesis on new value paradigms: improving the financial valuation of economic agents by integrating cycles currently ignored in existing accounting methodologies and tools, and is an MIT-certified data scientist.
She is also a member of the editorial board of expert review (http://www.expert-reviews.com/), a publication of the future science group and a peer reviewer for the Journal of Medical Ethics (http://jme.bmj.com/) and the International Journal of Sustainable Development (http://www.inderscience.com/jhome.php?jcode=ijsd).
