Carolyne Larrington

Professor and Tutorial Fellow in English, University of Oxford

I am Professor of Medieval European Literature and Fellow and Tutor at St John's College, University of Oxford, working on Old Icelandic and European Arthurian literature. I publish on medieval women, mythology, and on the reception of medieval culture in modern writing.

My most recent trade book The Norse Myths that Shape the Way We Think (2023) follows up on The Norse Myths (2017), both published by Thames and Hudson.
