Catherine Chamberlain

Postdoctoral early career fellow, Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute

A registered midwife (BaSc) with public health training (PhD, MScPHP, MPH, GCIRL, GCHSM), currently working as a Senior Research Fellow in the Aboriginal Health Unit, Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute, Melbourne. Research interests include evidence based practice, systematic reviews, and research translation to improve maternal-child health. I have over 20 years experience in maternal-child health services in urban and remote Australia, and overseas with international aid agencies. I am a descendant of the Trawlwoolway people from the North East Coast of Tasmania.
