Senior Lecturer in Australian History, Flinders University

Catherine received her PhD in History from Sydney University in 2004. After holding positions at SBS Television and the Menzies Centre for Australian Studies, King's College, University of London, she came to the Flinders History Department in 2007.

My PhD was a history of pregnancy in Australia since 1945. I have since published on the history of miscarriage, the making and meaning of the 1955 film 'Jedda' and race relations in the Yass Valley, NSW. I am currently working on the history of migrant and refugee women and children in the post WWII period.
