Catherine O. Egbe, PhD

Specialist Scientist, Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drug Research Unit, South African Medical Research Council

Dr Egbe has a PhD in Psychology and Health Promotion from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal and more than four years experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal and the University of California San Francisco Center For Tobacco Control Research and Education. Her research interests include Tobacco Control, Mental Health, HIV/AIDS, commercial determinants of health and Health Promotion especially in general. She is presently a Specialist Scientist at the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Research Unit of the South African Medical Research Council.
