Cecily Niumeitolu

PhD Candidate, University of Sydney

My thesis examines tensions and connections between sexuality and reason in Beckett's last decade of prose: Company, Ill Seen Ill Said, Worstward Ho and Stirrings Still. Working through Beckett's archives, tracking transformations across his career and his composition processes, I engage queer and feminist thought, eco-criticism, and philosophy.

My other interests are postcolonial literature and theory, global literature, digitising/encoding and hermeneutics.
