Christina Thiele

PhD Candidate in Marine Microplastics, University of Southampton

My PhD research spans microplastics in the marine environment and possible effects on human health. I am interested in developing methods to extract microplastics from a range of species and marine products. My main interest lays in small microplastics as these could potentially be harmful to people. My research includes microplastics in oysters, sea salt and other marine products.
