Research Scientist, Australian Bureau of Meteorology

Christine Chung is a research scientist in the Climate Change, Variability, and Extremes group at the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. As part of the Pacific Climate Change Science Program and Australian Climate Change Science Programs, she has led experiments using the Australian Community Climate and Earth-System Simulator (ACCESS) investigating the impacts of global warming and ENSO on tropical Pacific rainfall. She is currently investigating the impacts of remote multi-year to decadal scale variability on Southern Hemispheric climate under the National Environmental Science Program.
