Christine Sanderson

Christine Sanderson is a palliative care physician and researcher.

Her interests are in end of life care and the social and cultural aspects of death and dying. Over the years she has been involved in a wide range of health research, including studies on pain and delirium, and on bereavement and social supports in palliative care. As a palliative care researcher, she is interested in how professionals, institutions, individuals and communities respond to death and to dying people. Her goal is to ensure that it is possible for people to die safely.
