Christopher H. Lim

Senior Fellow in Science, Technology & Economics at RSIS, Nanyang Technological University

Chris read Pure Mathematics as an undergraduate, followed by a MS in Systems Engineering; and subsequently a PhD in Developmental Neuroscience, as a recipient of the John Crawford Scholarship and the Glaxo Wellcome Scholarship, at the Australian National University. He is a member of the Omega Rho International (Operations Research) Society and a fellow of the International Development Centre of Japan.

Over the past few decades, Chris has been involved in technical consultancy and research in a number of disciplines -- demography; solar energy systems; distributed power systems; systems & control engineering; and functional development of embryonic brain. In addition, he has also been working extensively in economic planning and formulation of national economic strategies.

More recently he has aslo researched into antimicrobial resistance, climate change and Biomimicry.
