Christopher Shank

Lecturer in Linguistics, Bangor University

Dr Christopher Shank is a linguist and a faculty member at Bangor University. After receiving his PhD in Linguistics in the US, he worked in Belgium and Germany. His research focuses on language variation, use and change in both synchronic and diachronic contexts. He also works in the field of bilingualism and specializes in bilingual and multi-lingual identity construction, (re) construction, representation and performativity in signed and spoken languages.
