I recently completed my PhD on the ecology and conservation of freshwater turtles in the Murray River, Australia. I have also been involved with TurtleSAT (www.turtlesat.org.au), which is a citizen science project that collects turtle sightings to monitor turtle populations within the Murray Darling Basin.
