I have been doing conservatin oriented research into turtles in the Murray River. I have also been involved with TurtleSAT (www.turtlesat.org.au), which is a citizen science project that is being implimented to track turtle sightings and monitor turtle populations within the Murray Darling Basin, as all local turtle species are now in a serious population decline due to various factors.
