Claudine Tinsman

Doctoral Researcher, University of Oxford

I am currently a DPhil candidate in Cyber Security at the University of Oxford. My research focuses primarily on how individuals experience harm through the use of new media and the development of transparent, user-centred AI to filter subjectively harmful content.

I have previously worked in immigration law, post-conviction justice, and bankruptcy court. I currently volunteer as an assistant to the Papers Chairs for the Conference on Human Factors in Computing and serve as a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Responsible Technology.
