Colette Mrowa-Hopkins

Academic status holder, Flinders University

My PhD thesis investigated interaction and non-verbal communication in language learning (French) and teaching.
Besides lecturing in French language and culture throughout my academic career, my main area of research and publication has been investigating emotion display and self-disclosure within a cross-cultural perspective. More recently, I have become interested in humour studies and the media. I also chair the SA branch of the Australian Computational and Linguistics Olympiad (OzCLO).
