Dr Colleen Seymour is an ecologist with a wide array of interests, including community and functional ecology, species interactions and ecological networks, and how disturbance changes these. These studies may focus on birds, plants or invertebrates. She is also interested in biodiversity horizon scanning. In recent years, she has worked in miombo woodland, savanna and arid shrubland natural systems, as well as agro- and urban ecosystems.
