Constance Bantman

Lecturer in French, University of Surrey

Constance Bantman has been a Lecturer in French at the University of Surrey since 2009, and is also programme director for Business Management and a Language as well as Liberal Arts and Sciences programmes. She studied Modern Languages and History at the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris 3 and Paris XIII Universities in France, and the University of Oxford. Her previous teaching appointments include the University of Oxford, Paris XIII University and Imperial College London. She is a specialist of French and British political and social history between 1880 and 1914; her research focuses on the history of French political exiles in Britain and anarchist transnationalism between 1880 and 1914.

Constance Bantman enseigne le Français à l'Université du Surrey depuis 2009, elle est aussi directrice de plusieurs programmes (Business Management, Language, Liberal Arts et Sciences).
