Assistant Professor of Recreation & Leisure Studies, Brock University

Corliss Bean is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies at Brock University. Her research involves working with community organizations at local and national levels to develop, implement and evaluate programming to foster psychosocial development. Corliss is also the co-director of the Centre for Healthy Youth Development through Sport and a member of Youth Research and Evaluation eXchange’s Provincial Academic Network. Her research interests include positive youth development, life skill development, sport psychology, program evaluation, girls and women, and coaching.
