Damazo T. Kadengye

Associate Research Scientist / Statistician, African Population and Health Research Center

Damazo T. Kadengye (Ph.D) is a Statistician with over 15 years of research and practice in Public Health and Educational Sciences. Presently, Damazo serves as an Associate Research Scientist and heads the Data, Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), Nairobi, Kenya.

Kadengye has also served as a Senior Lecturer of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Uganda; as a Lecturer of Statistical Methods at Makerere University, Uganda; and as an Epidemiologist with U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Uganda. Kadengye is a 2017 Impact Evaluation Fellow of the East Africa Social Science Translation (EASST) Collaborative based at the Center of Effective Global Action (CEGA), University of California, Berkeley, and a Member of the Network of Impact Evaluation Researchers in Africa (NIERA).
