Danial Hemmings

Dr Danial Hemmings is a Lecturer in Finance at Bangor Business School, Bangor University, where he obtained a PhD in Accounting and Finance in 2017 while a member of academic staff. He is an active researcher in broad areas of Accounting, Finance and Corporate Governance, and has published his research in high-quality international journals.

Danial is currently involved in a portfolio of research projects spanning topics in the areas of disclosure and financial reporting quality, corporate governance and shareholder votes, corporate finance, and climate finance. He has also been involved in projects funded by the Welsh Government, ESRC, British Academy and Leverhulme Trust.

Danial is also passionate about teaching and strives to incorporate his research activities and exposures into his teaching.
