Daniel is a Rhodes Scholar currently completing his PhD on the political and ethical implications of using AI in mental health at the University of Oxford. With a strong interest in business and innovation, Daniel was awarded one of two undergraduate scholarships in the Asia-Pacific by the Boston Consulting Group, undertaking health systems and private equity projects in Sweden. Daniel has published a variety of academic papers, with one of these articles selected amongst the ‘Best in Philosophy’ collection for 2019 by Oxford University Press. His work in the media has been featured in The Spectator, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Sun Herald, Herald Sun, Brisbane Times, The Critic, and The Conversation.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Hons) and a Bachelor of Medical Science (Hons) from Monash University.
