Danielle Schoenaker

Research Fellow, University of Wollongong

Dr Danielle Schoenaker is a Research Fellow in Epidemiology in the School of Medicine and the Illawarra Health and Medical Research Institute at the University of Wollongong. Dr Schoenaker has a broad interest in health and medical research, with a particular emphasis on the use of longitudinal study data to inform evidence-based strategies during early life and before, during and after pregnancy for the prevention of adverse health outcomes among women and children. Her current research focusses on examining short- and long-term cardiometabolic health of women with a previous high-risk pregnancy and their children, and on developing strategies to improve women’s health as part of preconception care.
