Darina Bassil is a research associate whose work has focused on the impact of chronic diseases, particularly dementia, on the elderly. She is responsible for managing study and data collection operations, and performing data analysis for the HAALSI Dementia study, and the Cognition and Dementia Project of HAALSI. Darina holds a PhD in public health from Imperial College London, and an MPH with a concentration in epidemiology and biostatistics from the American University of Beirut. Prior to joining HCPDS, she worked as a research associate focused on dementia prevention at Imperial College London’s Neuroepidemiology and Ageing unit.
