Dave Harte

Dave Harte is a Senior Lecturer in Media and Communications and Award Leader for the MA in Social Media at Birmingham City University. His main research interests are on the role that community news websites play in fostering citizenship. He is currently working on a significant project focused on identifying the nature of ‘Creative Citizenship’ in the UK. He has a background in working with local and regional policy-makers on developing the creative economy and has managed projects with a focus on supporting creative businesses.
