David Eliot (he/him) is a Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation PhD Scholar and a PhD student at University of Ottawa. He obtained his BA in Sociology from St. Francis Xavier University in 2020, followed by a MA in Sociology from Queen’s University. His primary research focuses are artificial intelligence, surveillance, and data economies. David has been awarded two outstanding graduate awards by the Canadian Sociological Association (for his MA and BA Thesis) as well Author B. McDonald Award for Academic Excellence presented by Queen’s University.
