Dr David Hall is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Social Sciences and Public Policy, AUT University. He has a D.Phil in Politics from the University of Oxford and B.A. in Geography from the University of Otago. His research interests cover political philosophy, public policy, environmental policy and migration. His edited collection, A Careful Revolution (2019), examines the politics of the low-emissions transition in Aotearoa New Zealand. He has also been involved in designing the Trees That Count initiative, establishing a Climate Innovation Lab, and leading AUT's Living Laboratories project which creates ecological restoration sites as nature-based solutions to climate change.
