David Henderson is a senior lecturer in Leadership at Cass Business School and graduated with his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago with an emphasis in organisational behaviour, human resource management, and leadership in 2009. Prior to this he obtained two Masters Degrees: one in International Business and the other in French Language and Linguistics from the University of Florida.
He has published his research in top international journals such as The Academy of Management Journal, The Journal of Applied Psychology, and The Leadership Quarterly. His work on servant leadership, published in The Leadership Quarterly, has been named among the top 10 most cited articles in the journal between the years 2007 and 2011. David was previously a lecturer at The London School of Economics and a Visiting Professor at The London Business School. He has worked with organizations such as National Grid, Shell, Kongsberg International, the Taiwan Central Personnel Administration and the Office of the Civil Service Commission in the Kingdom of Thailand.
