David Kinitz is a PhD candidate in Social and Behavioural Health Sciences at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. His primary research focus is in the area of queer mental health, particularly as this intersects with economic insecurity and work. David prioritizes research that critically deconstructs socio-political and economic structures while advocating for equitable resources and social relations. His aim is to activate his research outputs to promote social justice informed policies, research practices, and clinical care to support queer populations in their journeys to health and wellness.

David is affiliated with Re:Searching for LGBTQ2S+ Health, a research team dedicated to improving the health of queer people and their families.
