Deron Caplan

Deron Caplan is a Ph.D. candidate working in Dr. Youbin Zheng’s lab at the University of Guelph. The goal of his research is to optimize horticultural methods for cannabis production, focusing on irrigation, growing substrates, fertilization, and propagation. He is passionate about bringing scientific thinking into the cannabis industry and has been focusing on cannabis production research in the past few years.
