Dr Lindsey J Reece

Senior Research Fellow in Physical activity & Sport & Academic Director SPRINTER group, University of Sydney

Lindsey has extensive experience in applied research and evaluation, specialising in Physical Activity, Sport and Public Health. Within her current role as Senior Research Fellow at the University of Sydney’s Prevention Research Collaboration, she is the Director of the SPRINTER (Sport and Active Recreation Intervention & Epidemiology Research) group - an innovative research partnership with the Office of Sport, NSW government). A capable strategist and confident thought leader, Lindsey is happiest and at her best when managing numerous projects across a portfolio of highly complex, multi-sector programmes. Lindsey is also the Academic lead for parkrun au, an active member of the Global Research board for parkrun, Board member and Advocacy Lead for the International Society of Physical Activity for Health, Executive Committee member for the Australasian Society for Physical Activity and board member for Outdoors NSW/ACT.
