Dr Dylan Irvine holds the position of Outstanding Future Researcher (Northern Water Futures) in the Research Institute for the Environment and Livelihoods at Charles Darwin University and is affiliated with the National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training. His research interests include the use of water temperatures to understand processes related to groundwater and its interactions with streams, wetlands, and lakes. He also works in coastal hydrogeology, groundwater modelling and software development. He is also a proud dad, an enthusiastic educator, and a keen Python programmer.
