Eamon McCarthy

My research interests coalesce around questions of gender and sexuality, with a particular focus on Argentine visual culture. I have published on the Borges siblings and have been invited to speak on my work in the UK, Spain and Argentina. I have recently completed a monograph dedicated to Norah Borges. I am continuing my work related to women arts and am also currently working on queer Argentine fiction.

I am an assistant editor for the Bulletin of Spanish Studies and the Bulletin of Spanish Visual Studies.

I am also secretary of the Society for Latin American Studies.
