Lecturer in Hispanic Studies, University of Glasgow

My research interests coalesce around questions of gender and sexuality, with a particular focus on Argentine visual culture. I have published on the Borges siblings and have been invited to speak on in the UK, Spain and Argentina. I have recently completed a monograph dedicated to Norah Borges and intend to produce a catalogue raisonné of her works in the future. I am also developing an interest in Argentine cinema.

I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. In 2016 I won both a College Teaching Award and an SRC Student Teaching Award (in the category of Best Dissertation Supervisor). I am currently the College Quality Officer, UG Language Co-ordinator for the school, and have previously taken a leading role in schools liaison and student recruitment.

I am an assistant editor for the Bulletin of Spanish Studies and the Bulletin of Spanish Visual Studies. I am also secretary of the Society for Latin American Studies.

In Glagsow, I co-convene the Glasgow Latin American Research Network with Dr Mo Hume.
