Elise works collaboratively across Western Sydney University and South Western Sydney Local Health District, developing and leading programs of research with allied health clinicians and researchers. She is engaged in higher degree research supervision and teaching. As a speech pathologist, Elise is also interested in research focused on optimizing outcomes for young children with communication disorders, particularly speech sound orders.
