Elise Schubert is a registered pharmacist and a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney. Elise graduated from a Bachelor of Pharmacy with First Class Honours in 2018 at the University of Sydney, where she published her research looking into a potential Alzheimer’s disease treatment. Elise has has almost 10 years experience in pharmacy, having worked in community, compounding and hospital settings. Her current post graduate studies are primarily focused on medicinal cannabis research, in particular, the potential for its use in chronic pain and arthritis conditions.
