Elizabeth Ormondroyd

Researcher in Inherited Cardiac Conditions; Genetic counsellor, University of Oxford

I have research interests in psychosocial and ethical impacts of genetic information, bringing together perspectives of patients, families, healthcare professionals and researchers. I trained in molecular biology originally, then in Genetic Counselling.

My recent research focus has been on 'secondary findings' from genomic sequencing, and currently run a study combining clinical evaluation of secondary findings in inherited heart conditions with researching the impacts of disclosing them.
