Elyse R. Grossman

Policy Fellow, Department of Health, Behavior and Society, Johns Hopkins University

Dr. Elyse R. Grossman is a public health lawyer and policy consultant focusing on alcohol, marijuana, and other drug policy and law. She has more than 15 years of experience researching, analyzing, and publishing on these issues -- especially in areas of prevention and youth. In addition to regularly publishing in peer-reviewed journals, Dr. Grossman recently co-authored an Amicus Curiae brief for the Supreme Court in TWSRA v. Thomas (2019).

Dr. Grossman completed her Masters and Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and her J.D. with a Concentration in Health Law at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. She also completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
