I work at the intersection of literature and philosophy, examining how and why literature is important to us.

I'm currently in the final stages of my doctorate. The thesis explores literature's ‘human centrality’ and constructs a theory of how literary language is humanly meaningful. My planned postdoctoral project aims to articulate persuasively the nature of literature's socio-political and moral relevance.
