Ph.D. student, University of Sydney

I am a Ph.D. student with the Global Ecology Lab at the University of Sydney.

My doctoral research focuses on the ecology of carrion (dead animals) and scavenger/predator species. I study the effects of carcass production on surrounding soil and plant communities, and the use of those carcasses by native and feral insects, birds, mammals, and reptiles. I am also interested in the impacts of culling in Australia via the production of carcasses, as well as the indirect impacts that carcasses can have on native species via the predators that they attract.
