Eric Charrault

Dr. Eric Charrault joined the Future Industries Institute at the University of South Australia in 2014 as a research fellow in Energy and Advanced Manufacturing. His present research in the focuses on understanding the fundamental mechanisms of the deposition of sputtered thin films to design and develop next generation products for automotive applications, on developing the next generation of anti-wear coatings for mining exploration. Over the years, Eric developed his research interests and expertise in various areas related to material, surface and interface science, coatings, tribology and nanofluidics through post-doctoral positions held at the University of Sydney and the University of Montreal and a PhD completed at the University of Strasbourg.
