Assistant Professor of Africana Studies, University of Arizona

I am a scholar at the University of Arizona with expert knowledge regarding the digital-religious practices of young adult African-Americans and the analytical tools for the study of online religious practices. Past projects include a two-year ethnography of the digital-religious lives of Black Christians. I recently co-edited Beyond Christian Hip Hop: Towards Christians and Hip Hop with Routledge Press. My forthcoming book on young adult Black Christians is due out on NYU Press.
