Erin G. Wessling is a Research Scientist at the German Primate Center and the University of Goettingen studying the evolutionary ecology of the primate genus Pan. Her research concerns the evolutionary ecology of primate speciation and behavioral diversity. Her work centers at the interplay of ecology, conservation, evolution, and behaviour. Passionate about questions that are grounded in evolutionary ecology and behavioral diversity and extend across dimensions and scales. In addition to her work as a scientist, she is an experienced practitioner and advocate for the integration of science into conservation policy and evidence-based action.
