Ernest Biktimirov

Ernest Biktimirov is a Professor of Finance in the Goodman School of Business at Brock University. He graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Information Technologies (1988) and the Institute of Technical Creative Work and Patent Science (1990) in Uzbekistan. Professor Biktimirov worked as a senior researcher at the Institute of Cybernetics of Uzbek Academy of Sciences in Uzbekistan, where he became an author of eight patents and won the Excellent Results in Invention award. Professor Biktimirov received his MBA (1994) and Ph.D. in Finance (1999) from the University of Kentucky, USA. In 2003 he earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Professor Biktimirov has published over 20 refereed journal articles and won multiple teaching awards.
