Felipe Roa-Clavijo

Research and Communications Officer, University of Oxford

I am a researcher based at the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) at the University of Oxford. OPHI is a research centre from the Oxford Department of International Development whose main research and policy focus is on multidimensional poverty.

I recently completed my doctoral thesis which focused on the negotiations between the Colombian government and agrarian movements. With the goal of shining light on the role of interactions among actors holding different and competing visions of the agri-food system, I analysed the implications of these negotiations for Colombian rural development and agricultural policy.
