Fernando de Roda

Fernando is Cofounder and Managing Partner at Greenward Partners, a firm that structures financial solutions for implementing energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements on buildings, while providing long-term private institutional investors with an opportunity to make sustainable alternative investments.

Previous professional experience includes a position as Global Head of Corporate Real Estate for Enel Group, overseeing a portfolio of 17,000 properties in 40 countries – including 1,300 offices with a NAV higher than €3,500mn, and managing real estate transactions in the range of €50-100mn per year. At Enel, Fernando has been Executive Assistant to the CEO for Iberia & Latin America, and for global affairs related to European Commission and other Supranational Institutions, in particular to issues regarding sustainability and climate change.

Fernando´s prior experience includes corporate finance and investment banking at Santander Investment, strategic consulting at Andersen Consulting Strategic Services, and production engineering at General Electric.

Fernando has worked with establishments in four countries (Spain, UK, Poland and Italy), and holds a BSc and MSc in Industrial Engineering by the Universidad Politecnica in Madrid, and a Senior Management Program PADE from IESE.
