Flore Van Leemput is currently a MSc candidate at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. Her research centres around the determinants of immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy-related toxicities, with a particular focus on older adult cancer patients.
In 2023, she also completed a BSc in health sciences at the University of Waterloo, graduating with a minor in gerontology and a pre-clinical specialization. Throughout her time here, she developed a strong interest in the gut microbiome, focusing on understanding how it influences the health and immune responses of individuals as they grow older.
